Warrior Evo 5 Lacrosse Heads

The Warrior Evo 5 offers reduced weight and enhanced stability, making it ideal for offensive midfielders and goal-scoring attackmen. It features LOC-THROAT and Tilt-Tech technologies. LOC-THROAT minimizes shaft rattle and ensures a secure fit, but be aware that it may not be compatible with certain shafts. A mid-low pocket and a unique Tilt-Tech string hole design allow for better control and ball release.

Perfect head for:
Attack and middies who like to carry the ball lower in the pocket but still want a head with outside shot power and accuracy.

Key features include:

Tilt-Tech string hole design
TruOffset Technology deepens the pocket for enhanced ball control and shot power
Bottom Rail Designed for mid to low-pocket placement
Sym-Rail gets rid of excess weight while providing greater stiffness in the design

Progression of the Evo 5 lacrosse head:

The Warrior Evo lacrosse head is a popular choice for players of all levels, and it has seen several iterations over the years. Here's the progression:

1999-2000 - Evo

The original Evo was designed to be lightweight and featured a refined offset patent for improved release points.

Evo 2

The Evo 2 built upon the original's success was about trying to increase ball control in the pocket and accuracy out of the pocket. It has a redesigned throat and the amount of offset in the head increased.

Evo 3

The Evo 3 saw significant changes, including custom color heads, an increased number of sidewall string holes from ten to 13, and a shortened throat.

Evo 4

The Evo 4 introduced the SYM-RAILTM technology, which aimed to strategically reduce weight but still maintain overall stiffness.

Evo 5

The current iteration, the Evo 5, features further refinements, including the Tilt Tech string hole setup for a lower pocket and improved control. It also boasts a Throat Lock for a secure fit on the shaft and a stiffer design overall.

👍 Pros
The Evo 5 is probably my favorite head ever. It has a little flex but is great for middies and attackmen.
Works best with a mid-high pocket.
The Throat Lock is great. Feels like it's glued to the shaft.
👎 Cons
Not many string holes, but if strung well it doesn't matter.
Not sold on the Throat Lock. Had to sandpaper down the edges to get it to connect.
Fix the ball stop! It keeps falling off.
The Warrior Evo 5 was the head of choice by players such as UVA attackman Xander Dickson. It's made to be light and accurate with a ton of ball control. It's got a lot of sidewall holes that would allow for multiple sidewall patterns, so you have a ton of different stringing options. Some players like to do a high pocket with a little bit more whip, and some like a mid to low pocket for less whip and more control. This head is for players who'd like to have the ball lower in the pocket, but it's also versatile in what you can do with it.
Durability
Stringability
