* Hybrid flexes like this head may have issues with spooning, but it's still better than the original CEO. 
* The scoop is not great. It’s pointed so if the ball is not right in the center of the head, the ground ball will not work. Also, the head gets stuck in the ground if you're going on an aggressive angle. 
* The plug in the head creates a wobble on the shaft. I’ve broken 3 carbon shafts in 3 games in the same spot because the plug in the stick wedges and snaps the carbon.

With the CEO 2, Nike tried to step up the model slightly. They made the plastic more durable, so it would rebound a bit easier and hold its shape better than its predecessor. They reworked the scoop so you could win it forward to yourself more easily. They reworked the throat of the head so you could pinch and pop it backward without the head pinching too much. It's a head made for a faceoff guy.

The Stallion 1K is the top midfielder head for sure. It's based on the original Stallion design that pro player Kyle Harrison used and designed for that two-way midfielder. The 1K has an improved stiffness, shape retention, and an updated scoop. PLL rookie, Nick Nakeie Montgomery, who ranked 28th in Duke history in career points, also uses this head. I like this head because it can be used both on the offensive side of midfield and the defensive side. It weighs in at about 4.7 oz, making it lighter than the current ECD DNA 2.0, StringKing Mark 2V, and Mark 2T.

* The biggest problem was finding a way to string the head that could match an offensive pocket as well as a face-off pocket. Took a couple of tries.

The Weapon X was made to compete with the Nike CEO line and is popular amongst faceoff guys throughout college. The idea is that it will flex the same every single time. So, it won't flex a little bit lower; it won't flex a little bit higher. It will flex in the same spot, holding the same shape with its warp resistance technology. The throat of the head was made to be as pinched as possible without becoming illegal, so right around that 3” requirement.

The STX Shield is one of the highest regarded goalie heads on the market because of the stiff design and lightweight feel. The head uses C-Channel technology to help improve strength in the areas that experience the most impact; this also increases stiffness and stability to enable consistent outlet passes. It’s true that there are many fewer options available to goalies compared to field players when it comes to lacrosse heads. STX aims to cater to goalies by being one of the leading manufacturers of goalie-specific heads. The Shield is a big advancement over the original Eclipse, and there are many features that set it apart. To start, the new throat design was developed into a newer shape that allows goalies to slide their top hand up higher on their shaft. This, ultimately, helps lead to fewer rebounds.
