-   I switched to the L3 from the old model, and it's a perfect upgrade. The plastic is lighter and stiffer, and the face shape is great. Although there are plenty of stringing holes, I wish the sidewall holes were slightly larger.
    
-   Can be strung in various ways to fit any pocket location (high to low). Suitable for traditional style. Feels stiff. If you liked Lakota 2, you'll love L3.

It has a shorter throat on the head, which reduces the distance between the player's top hand and the ball so you have more control. This head was designed with the inside finisher in mind, with an increased feel and face shape for passing and shooting. With 20 sidewall holes, this head allows you to string the head any way you like.

* I like this head - it's light and performs great. But, it's too fragile. I've had two breaks in 8 months at the throat. If it were more durable, it'd be the best ever.
* Used this new lacrosse head in college practice and after 7-8 months it cracked near the throat. Love the color and design but not perfect yet.
* It's been working okay for me. Was not easy at first to string the right pocket.

Maverik made two changes with this head, the first being a tighter face for more ball control for defensive players who like to carry the ball. If you're more of a player who wants to pinch the ball and pop it out backward to your wing, then you'd have the ability to do that because the Nike CEO is strong and flexible enough to get that angle and pop. Some of the new technologies that the head features include a contoured scoop and a double bar offset to increase ground ball capabilities and pocket accuracy. The contoured rounded scoop helps players quickly scoop up ground balls and funnel the ball towards the center of the channel, especially during a scrum or on fast breaks. The double bar offset increases strength and pocket depth by adding more plastic for the head to be reinforced by, therefore increasing the width between the top rail and the ball. The head also features strategically placed sidewall holes to allow for a low, mid, or high pocket that can be customized to the user’s preference. The Warrior Evo X is a universally legal, well balanced head, great for two-way midfielders to step up their game.

Warrior’s Evo X was one of the first heads in the Evo series. At the time of its initial release, it was one of the most advanced heads on the market. The Evo X is designed for advanced attackmen. It features a wide face shape and a flared sidewall design that’s very tailored toward offensive play. In addition to its face shape, the scoop is highly curved to facilitate middies trying to scoop up ground balls on the run. If you’re a player who is always involved in the transition, the Evo X will lend itself well to your style of play. The only downside of this head is that it doesn’t have as many sidewall holes as others do. So long as you have your head strung correctly for your position though, it’s not that big of a problem.
