# Adrenaline Nomad Head

Made in collaboration with the Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse team, the Adrenaline Nomad targets the versatile player who thrives in the transition game. Its medium taper head profile balances control and power, making it suitable for various situations on the field. The smooth scoop facilitates quick ground ball pickups, while the stringing holes allow for a customized pocket ideal for both shooting and passing. Constructed from a proprietary blend of titanium, scandium, and aluminum, the Nomad boasts durability and lightweight performance.

While Adrenaline is relatively young compared to established giants like STX or Nike, the Nomad signifies their commitment to innovative design and player-centric equipment. Its focus on versatility caters to the modern lacrosse player who demands a head that can adapt to the fast pace of the game.

 **Perfect head for:** the transition game

### Key Features Include

* Smooth scoop for quick ground balls
* Medium taper head profile
* Revolutionary shooting string-specific holes
* Premium materials for increased durability
* For intermediate to advanced players

### Top Competitor Comparisons: the [Maverik Havok](https://sidelineswap.com/shop/lacrosse/heads/maverik/havok/l7600) and the [Warrior Evo QX-D](https://sidelineswap.com/shop/lacrosse/heads/warrior/evo-qx-d/l168780)

The Adrenaline Nomad enters the ring against two strong competitors. Each caters to different playing styles: the Havok prioritizes power and control for offensive players with its stiff build and mid-pocket, while the Evo QX-D focuses on defense with its close fit and narrow face shape. Compared to these, the Nomad adopts a more versatile approach, aiming to excel in ground ball play, shooting on the run, and making strong passes. Its medium pocket and less aggressive scoop design offer a balance between control and quick release, making it suitable for players who transition between offense and midfield or prioritize a well-rounded skillset.

### Progression:

While the Adrenaline Nomad doesn't have a direct predecessor model, it draws inspiration from other Adrenaline heads and incorporates feedback from players during its development. The Nomad was developed in collaboration with the Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse team, leveraging their expertise and incorporating features they valued in existing heads.

### What people are saying (edited for brevity and clarity)

PROS

* The Nomad is very lightweight and comfortable to use.
* I appreciate the mid-pocket's versatility for both shooting and passing.
* This head can withstand a beating. Super durable.

CONS

* I prefer a more responsive head. It felt a little boxy and stiff compared to other heads I've used.
* Price could be lower given that it’s a new brand with almost no user reviews.
* The head was slightly heavier than expected.

### Expert Review (by [Allen Melick](https://sidelineswap.com/locker/EmpireSports))

This head is all about playing the transition game. The scoop is designed to be smooth to make picking up ground balls that much easier. The sidewall hole design on this head opens the pocket design to so many stringing opportunities. It’s a super stiff head and weighs in at around 5.15 oz.
