Top Competitors

The Warrior Alpha LX Pro has a mid-low kick point, ideal for players who value quick releases and puck control with some shooting power. The CCM Jetspeed FT5 Pro utilizes a hybrid kick point, offering a good balance between powerful shots and responsive handling. The Bauer Nexus Geo sits more traditionally with a mid-kick point, providing versatility for both power and maneuverability. If blazing fast releases and agility are your focus, the Warrior Alpha LX Pro takes the lead. For a balanced approach to power and responsiveness, the Jetspeed FT5 Pro and Nexus Geo are strong contenders, with the Jetspeed leaning slightly towards power and the Nexus Geo towards maneuverability.

Progression of the Warrior Alpha LX Pro

While the Warrior Alpha LX Pro doesn’t have any direct predecessors, it does include some improvements over previous Warrior sticks:

  • Lighter weight: The Alpha LX Pro utilizes advanced material and processing technologies to create an extremely lightweight stick that maintains durability.
  • FuelCore Ultra Blade: This redesigned blade offers a stronger carbon weave and tougher blade for a more durable blade that maintains puck feel and responsiveness.
👍 Pros
The LX Pro is so light. Seriously. My shot has power and my accuracy has improved.
The stick has a fast release on passes and shots and the slightly rounded corners feel good in hand.
One of the best composite sticks I’ve used. Responsive blade feels like the puck jumps off of it when shooting.
👎 Cons
Not durable, the toe of the stick cracked after 2 weeks.
I personally don't like the grip on this. Hard to keep tape on.
Toe started to break and crack after 30 days.
The Alpha LX Pro uses the saber taper, a fixture of Warrior's low kickpoint sticks. Saber taper is a longer, more aggressive taper from the hosel down to the blade versus your traditional stick, which starts to taper pretty low. The Warrior taper starts a bit higher to give more movement into that low kickpoint stick. Also, Warrior has used minimus carbon construction for a very long time and their sticks are super light and strong.
