Yes, CCM skates are excellent quality. The company is well known for producing some of the highest-performing hockey equipment available, and their skates are used by players of all ages and abilities.

No Bauer and CCM are not the same company. Bauer was founded in 1927, and CCM was founded in 1899; the two brands have operated independently for much of the last century.

CCM introduced the one-piece skate to the market several years ago and the design has become popular in the NHL, with as many as 150 players choosing to wear it.
