Bauer Speedplates are designed to work in conjunction with your skates and offer players an enhanced level of stability. The footbed locks your foot into place and prevents any shifting or sliding of your feet inside your boots. Speedplates almost make you feel like your skates are attached to your feet, which makes them way more responsive, and allows you to change direction more quickly.
