### Product Description

TaylorMade P770 Irons offer exceptional playability for elite golfers seeking Tour level shot shaping ability. A high-performance iron, the P770 is strategically designed with a progressive offset, thin topline, and tight leading edge to promote an appealing look at address and crisp contact at impact. The P770 features a high moment of inertia (MOI) for ball speed consistency and overall forgiveness and a lower center of gravity (CG) to create a higher launch trajectory. Precision-milled grooves provide golfers with a solid feel at impact and performance that is both workable and forgiving. The TaylorMade P770 is truly a Tour iron designed for highly skilled players, while at the same time providing playability improvements.

### Product Description

Callaway has redefined distance irons by utilizing technology from fairway woods to create the XR iron sets. The 360 Cup Face technology maximizes ball speeds through added flex upon impact. The Internal Standing Wave moves the center of gravity (CG) lower and forward to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) for increased forgiveness. With a lower CG and higher MOI, the face cup is able to generate more ball speed for higher distance. XR irons are an excellent option for all levels of golfers seeking an easier launch off the tee, greater forgiveness, and added distance behind their shot.

### Expert Notes

Callaway XR irons have a “cup 360” around the head, which is a thin metal that produces flex upon impact. The more flex a club has, the more ball speed you’ll get. Callaway also used the internal standing wave design from their fairway woods in these irons, which effectively lowers the CG. You will experience a medium amount of offset upon address, and the top line looks very similar to the X2 Hot irons. Lastly, it should be noted that these are cavity back irons; if that’s your preference, the Callaway XR’s are a great option.
