The Titleist T300 Golf Iron Set is engineered for players who demand maximum distance, forgiveness, and precision. Featuring high-density tungsten weighting, these irons offer exceptional stability and an optimal center of gravity, promoting higher launch angles and more consistent ball flights. The Max Impact technology behind the face ensures maximum ball speed and distance, even on off-center hits, by providing an incredibly responsive feel. The T300 irons boast a sleek, modern shape that inspires confidence at address while maintaining a tour-inspired look. Constructed from high-quality materials, these irons are designed for durability and outstanding performance.

Perfect irons for:
Those who seek a larger sweet spot and increased forgiveness on off-center hits.

Key features include:

Max Impact TechnologyAn improved polymer core that enhances both feel and mass efficiency at impact, resulting in more ball speed and improved feedback.
Tungsten WeightingDenser tungsten weighting allows for a more optimal center of gravity placement, leading to improved launch, distance, and forgiveness.

Top Competitors

The Callaway Rogue ST Max Irons are designed to be forgiving and easy to launch the ball. They have a large sweet spot and a low center of gravity to help you hit the ball higher and farther. The TaylorMade SIM Max Irons offers a good blend of distance, forgiveness, and feel. They have a large sweet spot and a Cap Back design that helps to transfer more energy to the ball at impact.

Progression of the T300 irons

Titleist re-sequenced the models of its performance irons. The player's irons are now the T100, the distance-oriented irons for better ball strikers are the T200, and the forgiving, game-improvement irons are the T300.

The key upgrades over previous models are:

  • The T200 and T300 both introduced Max Impact Technology, pairing a thin face with a polymer core behind it. The core was developed to boost ball speeds across the entire face and give the super-thin face a better feel and sound.
  • The T300 features a higher MOI than previous game improvement irons from Titleist.
  • The T300 irons have the largest overall size and the thickest topline.
👍 Pros
Really like the forgiveness of these irons. Even on off-centered hits they still go a long way and stay close to my target line.
The feel of this set is super solid. I know where I contacted the ball and could tell if it was hit off the toe, heel, or center.
Love the silver head and black back plate. Gives the club a simple design that is timeless.
👎 Cons
The default grips are Golf Pride grips that are way too slippery for me.
The irons were the stock irons off the shelf, so there was no adjusting the clubs,
I prefer a tackier grip on my irons. I think I’ll be customizing the grips.
The T300 irons are ideal for mid-to high handicappers looking for distance gains and forgiveness or for golfers transitioning from beginner sets to more advanced clubs. While these irons perform well in terms of distance and forgiveness, golfers transitioning from more traditional lofts may need to adjust to the stronger lofts in terms of gapping and approach shots. This set offers a reasonably good feel. The Max Impact tech contributes to a satisfying sound at impact.
