The Speed Pockets are featured in the 3-7 irons and then the rest are traditional cavity back designs. The Ultra-Thin Face combines with the Speed Pocket and Inverted Cone Technology to increase forgiveness across the face and to enable maximum playability and distance. Despite the name, TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are not blades, but are mid-sized heads with an average topline and offset. RocketBladez Irons come standard with the TaylorMade RocketFuel Steel Shaft and RocketBladez Black Grip.


### Expert Notes

These midsize irons have a generous head size, but not too thick of a top line. Players of all levels can hit these, and will enjoy doing so. Mis-hits seem to come off the face almost as well as a solid shot without losing much distance or accuracy. Speed pockets are featured in the 3-7 iron to really give you that extra boost of distance. Consistency is fairly solid with these too, and the sound is not too loud off the face. Lastly, these clubs are very light, making them easy to swing.

The combination of M1 technologies are designed to produce longer and higher shots with improved consistency and forgiveness. These 2017 irons offer greater distance and more forgiveness in a fairly compact shape. The irons have Face Slots for extra forgiveness, which provides additional control and workability as well. With mid-size top lines, the M1 irons sole features a 3-way bevel to help the clubs go through the turf easier. The longer irons in this set have a nice zip to them and you will feel like you are absolutely crushing them. Lightweight overall and very balanced, these are great clubs to try out.
