Despite the name, TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are not blades, but are mid-sized heads with an average topline and offset. These midsize irons have a generous head size, but not too thick of a top line. Players of all levels can hit these, and will enjoy doing so. Mis-hits seem to come off the face almost as well as a solid shot without losing much distance or accuracy. Speed pockets are featured in the 3-7 iron to really give you that extra boost of distance. Consistency is fairly solid with these too, and the sound is not too loud off the face. Lastly, these clubs are very light, making them easy to swing.

These irons feature a cut in the speed pocket slot to enable more flex. More flex equates to more distance and a higher launch. In addition, TaylorMade added a Dynamic Feel System to help with the vibration at impact by using dampening compounds. The mid-size head on the PSi irons looks and feels solid, and produces a nice sound. The head size stays the same with each club in the set, so you will experience consistency across the board. If they look too big to you, you might consider the PSi forged sets instead -- these feature a slightly smaller head.
