### Product Description

Ping i15 Irons are designed for more advanced players who seek better control, consistent ball flight, and increased distance on their shots. The progressive set design features long irons that are designed to promote forgiveness, while the short irons are designed to enhance control. The i15 utilizes tungsten weight low in the toe to maximize forgiveness and optimize center of gravity (CG) for improved trajectories. The Custom Tuning Port behind the hitting area provides a solid feel and sound across the hitting surface that low handicappers will appreciate. The Ping i15 irons use the same technology from the company’s G15 line of irons but creates a sleeker iron that specifically appeals to better players for more workability and shot control.

### Product Description

Ping G25 Irons offer game improvement performance and appeal to players of all abilities. The G25 Irons have a low center of gravity (CG), which helps produce high-launching shots. These irons are extremely forgiving, and deliver better results on off-center hits. The Custom Tuning Port that’s integrated into the bottom of the sole helps to lower CG and increase moment of inertia (MOI). The longer irons have slightly larger sole widths to launch shots with a higher trajectory, while the short iron soles are designed for versatility and control. The heel and toe support bars and low-toe weighting system help stabilize the face upon impact. With a new vibration dampening medallion on the back of the face, the overall feedback and feel of these irons is excellent.

### Expert Notes

Ping’s G25 irons are extremely forgiving, and this is now Ping’s sixth installment in the stainless steel game-improvement iron series. Much like the G20, these irons are now created with a different topline, sole width and offset than the G20. This maximizes playability. The G25’s sole width becomes narrower as the irons move from 3 iron to PW. You will also notice the custom tuning port lower behind the face. The port is near the sole to help improve your feel of the club. These clubs have a great look and are just all around fun to play with -- we’d recommend them for any player.

### Product Description

Winner of the 2012 Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Award, the Ping i20 Irons offer distance and shot-shaping control for more advanced golfers. The progressive head size and offset throughout the set is a key feature design to the i20 irons. The longer irons are high-launching and more forgiving while the shorter irons feature less offset and enhance shot control. A vertical Custom Tuning Port (CTP) creates a lower center of gravity (CG) for optimal launch conditions and different options for weight positioning. Stabilization Bars in the cavity improve the overall feel while the thicker face is extremely responsive and ensures distance control. A high-density tungsten toe weight optimizes forgiveness and improves a high-launch trajectory with low spin.

### Expert Notes

Ping i20 irons are a huge change to the i15’s, with a non-glare satin chrome finish. They feature a new CTP in the back of the head that stabilizes the iron throughout the swing, and the new sole design enhances turf interaction. Look for a smaller head size and new offset, which gives these irons a new look and feel. Shorter irons can be flighted lower and longer irons will stay in the air a little longer for softer landing shots onto the green.

### Product Description

Ping i200 Irons will appeal to golfers of all playing abilities and are extremely forgiving. This is a player’s iron built for game-improvement, and features a clean, classic, and compact look with incredible playability and workability. Constructed from 431 stainless steel, the thin clubface design increases moment of inertia (MOI) for extreme forgiveness. Ping i200 irons have a thicker top portion of the face and a thinner lower portion to reduce the center of gravity (CG) for higher launch and increased ball speeds. These high-launching and long-distance irons create a solid and powerful feel with a crisp acoustic upon impact. The i200 irons are aesthetically pleasing with their hydropearl chrome finish and come standard with the AWT (Ascending Weight Technology) 2.0 stock shaft.

iBlade

### Product Description

Ping iBlade irons have an impeccably soft and pure feel, and are designed with the right amount of workability and precision to execute the most demanding shots in the game. A player’s iron, the iBlade is for skilled golfers seeking thin toplines, minimal offset, compact blade shapes, and straight leading edges. Featuring a clean and streamlined look with ultimate feel, the iBlade offers a player’s look without sacrificing forgiveness. A tungsten plug in the toe of the club provides the iBlade with forgiveness that’s equal to many game improvement irons. The thin, high speed face increases ball speeds for higher launch trajectories and better precision. Ping utilizes 431 stainless steel and an Activated Elastomer insert that activates upon impact to dampen vibrations, provide a softer feel, and fine tune the sound.

### Expert Notes

Ping describes the iBlade irons as one of the softest irons they’ve ever created. You’ll experience a pure, smooth feel when you make contact with the ball, and the iBlades are perfect for lower handicap golfers -- we recommend them for advanced players. You can really work the ball with these irons, and you’ll feel confident while using them. The CTP reduces vibrations and fine tunes the sound. Ping includes a tungsten weight in the toe to balance the head of the iBlade.

### Product Description

Ping G30 Irons are a game-improvement set of irons for golfers of all abilities. One of the most proven and best-selling models of its time, the Ping G30 Irons won’t sacrifice distance for forgiveness. Longer and more forgiving than its predecessor, the G25, these irons make the game easier to play. An Undercut Cavity design moves the center of gravity (CG) lower to increase a higher launch trajectory and make it easier to get the ball launched into the air. The Longer Blade lengths impact perimeter weighting in order to increase moment of inertia (MOI) for added forgiveness. The Custom Tuning Port (CTP) is positioned lower in the G30 irons in order to support the face and result in improved consistency and enhanced sound and feel.

### Expert Notes

With stronger lofts, you will generate an average of 3-7 more yards here with the Ping G30 irons. Superior turf interaction combined with undercut cavities gives these irons easy distance and feel. The short irons launch a bit lower, but spin more so consistency should be your focus here. The face is also slightly thicker, so the feel will be much softer. The mid and long irons are created with maximum distance and forgiveness in mind. All in all, these are very good looking clubs and are fun to play with. They are definitely an upgrade from the G25 irons in terms of sound and feel.

### Product Description

Ping 56 Irons feature a compact head design and thin top lines for a Tour-inspired look and feel that will appeal to better players. The compact design with curved edges and a more squared profile provides excellent feedback at impact. A lower moment of inertia (MOI) and minimal offset makes these irons incredibly workable and playable for low handicap players. Grooves in the face enhance spin on the ball and provide added control. Variable Tungsten Weighting utilizes progressive weights in the toes of the clubs to give the long irons higher launch trajectories and in the short irons lower trajectories. In addition, the narrow stabilizing bars behind the clubface work to give the long irons more distance while the wider stabilizing bars in the short irons help control launches.

### Product Description

Ping i25 Irons are more advanced technologically compared to the i20 irons, and are engineered for a variety of skill levels. Featuring ultimate levels of versatility and forgiveness, the progressive set design provides a specific function for each iron with regard to the center of gravity, bounce, and the offset. The long irons are extremely forgiving and increase ball velocity for added distance and a higher shot trajectory with their narrow face-stabilizing bars. The short irons create more control and inspire confident shots, and the wider bars produce a lower ball trajectory and softer feel. The mid-irons and wedges are more compact with less offset for improved accuracy and scoring. A high-density tungsten stabilizing weight in the head helps maximize energy transfer at impact while the Custom Tuning Port optimizes overall feel and creates trajectory control.

### Expert Notes

The i25 irons are the newer model of the i20’s, with a few advancements. These irons are best suited for more advanced players, but a 10 handicap may get away with using them too. You will find the i25’s feature a bigger cavity, and the soles are wider to help with forgiveness and to get the ball up in the air. You may even hear a hollow sound when you hit them due to the large cavity, but don’t let that throw you off your game. The CTP is lower and less noticeable than it was in the i20’s. These clubs look cleaner and are extremely easy to hit. You will feel very comfortable playing with these.

### Product Description

Ping S55 Irons offer more workability and forgiveness in a cavity-blade iron set that’s designed for advanced and Tour-level golfers. Improving upon its already successful predecessor, the Ping S56, the S55 iron set optimizes performance for better forgiveness and control. The S55 features a Single Stabilizing Bar for a simpler look and more effective performance demanded by better players. The Thinner Face with Perimeter Weighting makes the club more forgiving with a lower center of gravity (CG). The cavity has a Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Badge insert that provides a better sound and a softer, more forged-like feel. The Ping S55 iron is compact at address, but the precision weight placements also make this iron more forgiving at the same time. The longer irons provide a higher launch angle for consistent performance, while the shorter irons provide more penetration and workability.

### Expert Notes

These irons are more forgiving than the S56, with a slightly softer feel. They also fly farther than the previous model. They look very similar to the S56 model and are a favorite on the pro tour circuit. The biggest change you will find is the CTP is made of a different material and is slightly larger. As a result, the irons have a slightly higher MOI. The irons themselves are fractionally smaller than the S56’s and are very workable for players of all abilities. Even the short irons have been fortified and modernized.
