Callaway XR irons have a “cup 360” around the head, which is a thin metal that produces flex upon impact. The more flex a club has, the more ball speed you’ll get. Callaway also used the internal standing wave design from their fairway woods in these irons, which effectively lowers the CG. You will experience a medium amount of offset upon address, and the top line looks very similar to the X2 Hot irons. Lastly, it should be noted that these are cavity back irons; if that’s your preference, the Callaway XR’s are a great option.

In the shorter irons, it is slightly higher to increase ball flight. Compared to the Apex CF 19 irons, the Pro’s have less offset and a thinner top line.
