The TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 driver has an expanded clubface that gives the player more surface area to hit. The large black and white face is super easy to align. Compared to the original RocketBallz driver, this one is faster and longer. With a more forward CG location, you will experience higher launch and lower spin. This game improvement driver generates lots of center hits and not a ton of misses. Toe hits are often corrected into high draws. When you do have a miss hit, it surprisingly never feels that bad.

TaylorMade R1 Drivers - originally released in 2013 - improved upon the company’s previous driver, the R11S. The R1 Driver offers slightly more ball speed and less spin than the R11S, due to the lower and more forward center of gravity (CG), for a high-launching and low-spinning ball flight designed to maximize overall distance. The 460cc head features a wide and deep face that is more forgiving on mis-hits and suitable for mid to low handicappers. The Adjustable Loft Sleeve provides shot-shaping control for a player to adjust for loft, lie, and face angle that will benefit almost every golfer. The Inverted Cone Technology with Movable Weights lets the sole weighting be adjusted to promote either a straight or draw ball flight.

This driver can be tuned to fit any player, regardless of your playing ability -- a bold move by TaylorMade, but understandably smart. You will first notice the graphics on the top of the club, which stand out compared to other designs. One of the most adjustable drivers on the market, this club provides maximum forgiveness. You can tweak the settings as you need or try some new lofts depending on the course you play. This club has higher pitched sounds than you may be used to, but remember that you are going for distance. With twelve loft options and seven face angle settings, you will be able to adjust the R1 driver to your exact preference.

TaylorMade R11 Drivers offer the ultimate optimization allowing players to adjust the loft, face, and flight path for their shots. The Flight Control Technology (FCT) gives the player the opportunity to adjust the face angle, lie angle, and loft with eight different clubhead positions. The Movable Weight Technology (MWT) lets the player create either draw or fade bias with two movable weights in the heel or toe. The heavier weight in the toe promotes a fade and the weight in the heel will produce a draw. The Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) allows the player to adjust the face angle by selecting an open, closed, or neutral position. The new aerodynamic shape enhances speed and distance and the white non-glare crown with black clubface makes the club easier to align at address.

An enlarged Speed Pocket allows the face to flex more at impact and increases the size of the sweet spot, reduces spin, and provides consistent speeds even on mis-hits. The Aerodynamic Design with a raised center crown, rounded toe and hosel fin help to reduce drag and provide faster clubhead speeds for greater distances. The club is aesthetically pleasing with its white matte finish and black PVD face, with a linear crown graphic for easy alignment.

### Expert Notes

The SpeedPocket is back and TaylorMade has revealed a super lightweight driver with a very stable face in the Aeroburner driver. It has a hard, hot face that allows you to crush your drives.  You’ll find this club feels much lighter compared to other drivers on the market. The white clubhead is back to basics for TaylorMade, with a color scheme that gives the head a slimmer look upon address. This is a great club for swingers who need an altitude adjustment, as this club launches very high. One thing to note: this driver is not adjustable.

TaylorMade SLDR Drivers provide a higher launch trajectory with less spin for increased distance. The SLDR is extremely forgiving and easier to hit, giving golfers more distance and more loft. Featuring Adjustability Technology with the SLDR Moveable Weight System, a single 20 gram sliding weight in the 460cc titanium head allows players to fine-tune their shot shape by adjusting for draw, fade or neutral ball flight. Center of Gravity (CG) is positioned lower and more forward in the head to create higher launch angles and less spin, thus adding more distance behind your shots.
