The Warstic Bonesaber is a single-piece aluminum bat known for its unique flared knob. It resembles some of the wood bats that the pro ball players use. Which is why I think some players go for it. But performance-wise, it's not my favorite bat. It's stiff and a little on the heavy side.

-   My son loved this bat from day one. After three weeks of use the plastic piece where the shaft meets the barrel cracked. Definitely expect something better than this for $450. Haven't started the warranty process yet so we'll see how that goes.
    
-   The bat handle now telescopes into the barrel after the junction cracked. We had expected better quality for the price and it's hard to accept a replacement that arrives 2-3 weeks later at best.

The Goods is a top performer and the 2024 model is the most expensive hybrid bat on the market. It's an end loaded bat for that power hitter in your lineup. The alloy is strong, and it has a good whip to it. Overall, The Goods is in the top five in the hybrids for both BBCOR and youth. * This bat has a fantastic feel, sound, and performance on miss-hits. It boasts one of the largest sweet spots in BBCOR. Although it lacks feedback, it is very easy to swing.
* Great feel and pop. Although I usually change grips, the stock grip on this bat is solid. The durability is very impressive as well, as the bat has already outlasted most others.
* No failures on Meta bats except cosmetic chips. They perform better than new. High school varsity team used 32-3 for 2 years without issues. Change grip tape yearly and keep hitting!

* The finish will chip if hit against spikes.
* It's expensive.... and not crazy about the color.

**PROS**



* A kid in a slump hit his first-ever home run with this bat. It arrived just in time for a playoff game and worked great for my average-sized 11-year-old son - not too heavy.
* After breaking in this bat properly, it really performs well! My son uses it for our USSSA 8U Travel team and you can easily tell when it's hit on the sweet spot. The bat is also forgiving on mis-hits, often resulting in faster grounders than usual (for this age group) and very high pop.
* This bat has more pop than most USA bats, similar to BBCOR/USSA. We broke it in with tee hits, and my son hit missiles and balls over the fence on the first day. Expensive, but worth it for avid players.

**CONS**



* Great indoor results with the new non-Easton bat during coach pitch pre-season. Disappointing mid-season pop-up infield hits. I've always used Easton before, won't try other brands again.
* Great pop, but poor performance when missing sweet spot. Treated with care, but still cracked in Apr. Son upset I didn't allow use in cold weather, with heavy balls or pitching machines. It was mostly used as game bat last year, did not last into 2nd season.
* My son's bat barrel cracked after hitting his first HR, leaving him without a bat during All Stars and elimination series.

The DeMarini CF is a classic model that goes back to 2015 and offers one of the hottest models (2017) but is limited in use as its performance surpasses bat standards. Overall, the CF reflects a classic design which has been the same since 2015. A two-piece composite that offers a large barrel and sweet spot with a lightweight handle that creates a whip-like feel to it with the flexible connection between the handle and barrel.

They took the same design from the CAT8 and strengthened the CAT9 with a stronger alloy to avoid any denting issues. It's a very good, durable bat. The CAT9 will be a bit heavier than the CAT8; it's a better bat for stronger kids. The first generation of the CAT9 came out with a gray, black, and red paint job. The second generation they called the Past Time, which was red, white, and blue. It's the same bat, but a different paint job. The second bat was more popular simply because of how it looked. The CAT9 Composite comes in two designs across two generations. The first, released in 2021, is gray, black, and red. And then it came out in red, white, blue, and gray. The first model was a more powerful, higher-performing bat. It has more exit velocity and is a hotter bat than the 2nd gen. Very durable, with very little breakage. Marucci's, across the board, have been good bats in terms of quality; they seem to last. Whether you're a power hitter or a small kid, the CAT9 Composite does very well.

The Quatro Pro launched in 2019. Even today, it's one of the hottest bats out there. If you can find one, the Quatro Pro is a great performer; it is lightweight, easy to swing, and has a ton of pop. Probably one of the top five BBCOR bats of all time. 

The first two years had breakage issues. Since then, Rawlings has made some adjustments to the barrel, thickened the sidewalls and made the bat more durable, but in doing so, they lessened the performance. The later models are not as popular as the early ones.
