-   My son hit three home runs with the Goods bat at a college prospect camp this weekend. He says the current version feels amazing and is the best one yet.

**CONS**

-   My son loved this bat from day one. After three weeks of use the plastic piece where the shaft meets the barrel cracked. Definitely expect something better than this for $450. Haven't started the warranty process yet so we'll see how that goes.
    
-   The bat handle now telescopes into the barrel after the junction cracked. We had expected better quality for the price and it's hard to accept a replacement that arrives 2-3 weeks later at best.
    
-   Bat bought 2 months ago broke when I dropped it. It's a good bat but not very durable. Connector piece broke and it telescoped.

The Goods is a top performer and the 2024 model is the most expensive hybrid bat on the market. It's an end loaded bat for that power hitter in your lineup. The alloy is strong, and it has a good whip to it. Overall, The Goods is in the top five in the hybrids for both BBCOR and youth. * Good bat, with less pop than 1-piece aluminum. Ideal for singles with a lighter swing weight. Composite material, so have 2 bats for high competition.
* My son is 11 years old. I was worried he would struggle to swing a 30/20 bat this year, considering he used a 29/19 bat last year. However, this bat is amazing! It is hot right out of the wrapper. I wouldn't even think about using another bat this year; this one is perfect.
* This is the best overall USA bat on the market. It has decent pop and great balance, making it a high-quality option.

* "The bat developed cracks in the sweet spot from regular use during batting practice. After six months, the cracks grew larger until there were two major ones, resembling a cave-in."
* Bat has pop but I've had a couple of friends crack this same bat after 4 games.
* Bought it for my son, 2nd time he used it, it cracked. He only hit league baseballs with it in warm weather.

The CF Zen has been discontinued. The early models from 2017 - 2021 were called CF Zens. After that, DeMarini changed the name to CF. The first models of the CF Zen were very high-performance. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.

**PROS**



* My son just got a new bat to replace his META and it's great! It's hot out of the wrapper, has a forgiving barrel and almost no vibration. He absolutely crushed the ball. We can't wait to see how it performs when it's fully broken in.
*  If you like end-loaded bats, this one has surprising pop with low noise. It feels good when squared up and I personally love it. My rating is 8/10. 
* "This bat increased my exit velocity and feels smooth when swinging. It's the best bat I've ever used."

**CONS**



* This bat is heavy and can be hard to locate the barrel. I recommended for very strong players. If you swing a drop 5 alloy, try a drop 8 Zoa.
* Sounds dead. My son hates it. We bought this bat because of the good reviews. Its expensive and has no pop.
* Only downside is that the weather needs to be warmer or it will crack the bat due to it being all composite.

The Zoa has a strong barrel and connection, making it a heavier, end loaded bat overall. Your smaller players don't get the same bat speed or same performance with that Zoa as they do with the CF. The Zoa is one of those power hitter two-piece composites.
