Titleist AP1 714 irons are the fourth generation of the AP1 range launched in 2008 and deliver optimal high launch trajectory and increased stability to the aspiring golfer. When Titleist created the AP1 714 series, the goal was to increase ball flight, forgiveness, and the overall feel of the iron. These irons are some of the longest and most forgiving irons Titleist has ever made. They feature a multi-material, dual cavity design and a cast stainless steel body construction. This club series also features an Advanced CG design. This creates long irons that launch higher, and short irons that launch flatter for more carry distance and added control. Precisely placed high-density tungsten weights in the long and mid irons produces a higher MOI for consistent distance.

AP1 714 irons are ideal for mid-handicappers and weekend golfers. These irons allow for some creativity, and you’ll fin that you’re able to maneuver your shots pretty easily. These are some of the longest irons on the market and you can hit solid shots from both good and bad lies. They produce a crisp impact when hit, and are extremely balanced and stable through the turf. They sit very nicely when you’re lining up, and will give you a lot of confidence over the ball. If you don’t like the bulky look, you may want to rethink having these in your bag.
