* This helmet is perfect and super comfortable. It feels really snug on my head and neck. I also really like the quick clip, unlike the other xrs. The magnet only releases when pulled down. Easy to put on with gloves.

* Love the Cascade helmets, but wish they had a size in between Youth and Adult. My son has just about outgrown his youth helmet, and this adult helmet says he should fit, but the adult is still too large.
* Considering the price it is better if you are pursuing higher levels and not necessarily for those who are just starting. It is a little difficult to adjust the straps yourself so I would recommend having someone like a coach, teammate, friend, etc help

An eight-year-old isn't going to get hit by a 200-pounder, so they don't need all the extra materials that adult helmets have. Also, there is no sizing with the CPX-R, as the helmet has a pinch-able adjustment feature at the base of the neck.
