The 915D3 is a high moment of inertia (MOI) design that provides maximum forgiveness and increased distance off the tee. The Radial Speed Face is a high-speed forged face insert with a thin perimeter in the heel and toe that delivers more distance and retains ball speeds even when the ball is struck off-center. The SureFit Tour Hosel offers 16 unique combinations of independent loft and lie settings to provide optimal launch conditions and ball flight. The Titleist 915D3 is slightly smaller than the 915D2 driver at 440cc, and features a deep face pear profile that provides distance and trajectory control with a lower flight and less spin than the 915D2.
Expert Notes
This traditional driver is fairly long and provides what you expect: enough force to keep in play on poor swings, but maybe not always in the fairway. The 915D3 driver offers great balance throughout the entire club and is a total joy to hit. The center feels very solid, with the ball coming off the face hot. The 915D3 driver has a very repeatable flight, although it’s a little lower on average compared to other Titleist models. In terms of looks, the 915D3 is definitely one of the best drivers on the market, with a compact head and a sleek black finish.
