TaylorMade PSi irons are players’ performance irons that offer superior sound and ultimate feel for maximized ball speed and distance. Featuring a clean and precise look with classic lines that appeal to more advanced players, the PSi combines both beauty and performance. The Dynamic Feel System (DFS) dampens vibrations while Face Slot Technology helps achieve consistent distance by maintaining ball speed even on mis-hits. The blade length, topline thickness, and offset increase gradually from the wedges to the long irons. Designed to be a progressive set, TaylorMade ensures each iron performs optimally for its specific purpose. The new 360 degree undercut lowers the center of gravity (CG) and generates an optimal trajectory and distance preferred by better players.

### Expert Notes

These irons feature a cut in the speed pocket slot to enable more flex. More flex equates to more distance and a higher launch. In addition, TaylorMade added a Dynamic Feel System to help with the vibration at impact by using dampening compounds. The mid-size head on the PSi irons looks and feels solid, and produces a nice sound. The head size stays the same with each club in the set, so you will experience consistency across the board. If they look too big to you, you might consider the PSi forged sets instead -- these feature a slightly smaller head.
