Multi-material construction with an ultra-thin and lightweight carbon composite crown maximizes weight savings to enhance performance in distance, playability and feel for all golfers. The T-Track System gives golfers 25-grams of multi-directional adjustability for ultimate personalization in launch conditions. The front track utilizes a 15-gram weight to provide multiple draw, neutral and fade settings. The back track features a 10-gram weight to adjust for various launch heights and spin settings. The TaylorMade M1 460 Driver is one of the longest and most adjustable drivers TaylorMade has ever designed.

### Expert Notes

The M1 460 is a revised version of the M1, and adds forgiveness and improves sound. It features a black and white head that looks sleek and simple from above. You can switch between high and low to make this clubs yours. Front Track offers a 15g weight to provide multiple draw, neutral and fade settings. This club gives you a tour level fitting without the fitting truck. Mishits are easier to control, and the feel is overall superb. This head feels very lightweight. In fact, there is 43 percent more carbon in the toe panel for twice the weight savings compared to the original M1. As a result, you’ll feel extra confident when swinging hard off the tee.

TaylorMade SLDR 460 Drivers provide a higher launch trajectory with less spin for increased distance. The SLDR 460 is extremely forgiving and easier to hit giving the golfer more distance through more loft. Featuring Adjustability Technology with the SLDR Moveable Weight System, a single 20 gram sliding weight in the 460cc titanium head allows players to fine-tune their shot shape by adjusting for draw, fade, or neutral ball flight. Center of Gravity (CG) is positioned lower and more forward in the head to create higher launch angles and less spin adding more distance to your shots. The sweetspot in the SLDR has been expanded over previous TaylorMade models increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) across the face for more forgiveness on off-center strikes.

The TaylorMade SLDR 460 driver is extra long in length, and it’s the successor of the R1 driver. A redesigned adjustable weight system and center of gravity give this driver less spin on the fairway. Gone is the white crown, as the SLDR 460 is back to a simple sliding system. You will enjoy the higher launch and faster ball speeds across the face. All in all, this driver is not overly complicated from a design standpoint, as TaylorMade tried to keep things a bit on the simpler side. It’s very easy to make a quick adjustment on the spot and hit again.

**PROS:** 

- I'm 81, and this driver with the senior shaft has totally eliminated my fade and increased distance 20-25 yards on off center hits. 
- This is the most consistent and longest driver I have ever played. It’s at least 10 yards longer than my previous driver. Super easy to hit.
- This driver is by far the most forgiving and the feed back is unbelievable.


**CONS:**
- The feedback from the face feels terrible. Every shot on the face felt identically dead. 
- The club seemed to play a little longer than the actual length, maybe because of the increased swingweight. So it seemed a bit harder to square up than the Sim2 Max I had before. 
- There's less audio feedback than with titanium heads (good and not-so-good shots sound the same).

XR 16

### Product Description

Callaway XR 16 drivers offer golfers more speed and forgiveness with an aerodynamically shaped club head and face. In order to reduce aerodynamic drag, Callaway partnered with Boeing experts to redesign the head shape and re-engineer the Speed Step to reduce weight and increase speed. R-MOTO Face Technology helps create a thinner and lighter face, which combines a faster face with extreme forgiveness to help maximize ball speed and distance. The R-MOTO ribs also enable the face to flex at impact which also contributes to increased ball speed. Callaway’s XR 16 is an excellent driver for all players, but middle and higher handicaps will likely experience the greatest gains in performance.

### Expert Notes

If you were a fan of the original XR Driver, you’ll really like the XR 16. The Speed Step is closer to the crown on this version, which makes this club extra forgiving. You will notice the head shape is longer than the XR as well. Callaway also made the R-MOTO ribs longer to enable the face to flex more, resulting in increased ball speed. You will enjoy hitting this club, as it is one of the best drivers Callaway has made to date.
