PROS:
- This helmet is perfect and super comfortable. It feels really snug on my head and neck. I also really like the quick clip, unlike the other xrs. The magnet only releases when pulled down. Easy to put on with gloves.
- I have had most Cascade helmets and this is by far the best yet. Not since the Pro 7 have I had a helmet that protected the back of my head.
- I am using it as a goalie and I have no complaints. Fits true to size, feels amazing, and looks great.
CONS:
- Love the Cascade helmets, but wish they had a size in between Youth and Adult. My son has just about outgrown his youth helmet, and this adult helmet says he should fit, but the adult is still too large.
- Considering the price it is better if you are pursuing higher levels and not necessarily for those who are just starting. It is a little difficult to adjust the straps yourself so I would recommend having someone like a coach, teammate, friend, etc help
- Pricey, especially if you customize it.
