We players have always known A2000’s for their Pro Stock leather’s durability, which continues to evolve and improve over time. In recent years, Wilson has started to combine the A2000’s legendary Pro Stock leather with a new SuperSkin material, which makes gloves more lightweight, moisture-resistant and twice as durable. To me, Wilson A2K baseball gloves have always represented tradition, luxury, and world-class performance. The most recent 2023 A2K models are offering a brand new SuperSkin material along with Wilson’s patented Spin Control technology, which is a dimple pattern in the glove’s leather sections that I think looks really neat, which also reduces the ball’s spin rate upon contact. Though I know many fielders who favor the classic, Pro Stock leather gloves that made A2K’s highly sought after from 2015-2020. Ever since their initial release in 2007, A2K gloves have been handcrafted by the world’s best glovemakers, who cater to the desires of professional baseball players that I’d imagine know a thing or two about gloves. * My son loves the 30", 5oz Easton Fire bat. It's hot straight out of the wrapper and feels lighter than his old one. The colors are bold but the grip is great. It has a normal composite bat sound and a well-balanced swing with a lot of pop. Highly recommended.
* My son switched to Easton Hype Fire bat after being a fan of Marucci for years. He loves the huge sweet spot, lighter weight and tons of pop. According to him, it's the perfect bat for USSSA.
* I love to see the confidence this bat gives my son. He's a very strong hitter, but with this bat, I see him being more patient, trusting his swing more, and hitting harder balls.

* My son used this bat for about 2-3 months before small cracks in the bat started to form. He still used it because his old bat (30-inch -8 Demarini Zoa) was broken. It is an amazing bat but it probably won't last a full season in 13U baseball because of the speed.
* My son's new bat, a 30" (-8), has a small 1/2" crack after just two sessions of coach pitch BP with around 50 hits. It's brittle and we've never used it on a tee or machine. I'm surprised at how quickly it broke.
* I wish they were made stronger. It has great pop, great swing but the durability is lacking. Our original purchase cracked in a month and our replacement cracked in 2 months.

The Hype Fire is the hottest, lightest swinging bat right now. The swing rate is very fast. It's a balanced, two piece composite bat. The first ones that came out had some breakage issues but they are now on that bat's second gen. We've not seen any of the new ones breaking. And to top it all off, it has the coolest paint job. The flames are yellow, orange, and red. The players love that.

* This bat has a fantastic feel, sound, and performance on miss-hits. It boasts one of the largest sweet spots in BBCOR. Although it lacks feedback, it is very easy to swing.
* Great feel and pop. Although I usually change grips, the stock grip on this bat is solid. The durability is very impressive as well, as the bat has already outlasted most others.
* No failures on Meta bats except cosmetic chips. They perform better than new. High school varsity team used 32-3 for 2 years without issues. Change grip tape yearly and keep hitting!

* A kid in a slump hit his first-ever home run with this bat. It arrived just in time for a playoff game and worked great for my average-sized 11-year-old son - not too heavy.
* After breaking in this bat properly, it really performs well! My son uses it for our USSSA 8U Travel team and you can easily tell when it's hit on the sweet spot. The bat is also forgiving on mis-hits, often resulting in faster grounders than usual (for this age group) and very high pop.
* This bat has more pop than most USA bats, similar to BBCOR/USSA. We broke it in with tee hits, and my son hit missiles and balls over the fence on the first day. Expensive, but worth it for avid players.

* Great indoor results with the new non-Easton bat during coach pitch pre-season. Disappointing mid-season pop-up infield hits. I've always used Easton before, won't try other brands again.
* Great pop, but poor performance when missing sweet spot. Treated with care, but still cracked in Apr. Son upset I didn't allow use in cold weather, with heavy balls or pitching machines. It was mostly used as game bat last year, did not last into 2nd season.
* My son's bat barrel cracked after hitting his first HR, leaving him without a bat during All Stars and elimination series.

The CF Zen has been discontinued. The early models from 2017 - 2021 were called CF Zens. After that, DeMarini changed the name to CF. The first models of the CF Zen were very high-performance. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.

They took the same design from the CAT8 and strengthened the CAT9 with a stronger alloy to avoid any denting issues. It's a very good, durable bat. The CAT9 will be a bit heavier than the CAT8; it's a better bat for stronger kids. The first generation of the CAT9 came out with a gray, black, and red paint job. The second generation they called the Past Time, which was red, white, and blue. It's the same bat, but a different paint job. The second bat was more popular simply because of how it looked. Everyone likes the American Flag with its Stars and Stripes.

* These skates are like an extension of my feet. The custom-fitting process means almost no break-in period. The comfort level is incredible, and I can skate for hours without any pain or discomfort.
* The boot is super responsive and allows for maximum energy transfer in my strides.  The heat-moldable option lets you customize the flex profile to your liking, which is a game-changer.
* The skates feel incredibly lightweight, which helps with agility and maneuverability.  Despite the lightweight build, the materials seem very durable. I've been using them for a season now, and they're still holding up great.

* These skates are definitely an investment. The custom fitting process adds to the cost, which might not be feasible for everyone.
* The custom fitting process takes time, and there can be a waitlist to get your skates made.  If you need skates right away, this might not be the best option.
* While the custom fitting is great in theory, it might not be perfect for everyone.  Some users with very complex foot shapes might still experience some fit issues.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

Endurance is the name of the game when it comes to Easton’s Mako bat series. Despite being discontinued in 2017, Easton Mako bats continue to sell very well in the modern market. This two-piece composite bat offers an additional jolt of pop at the plate, and its anti-vibration technology makes getting jammed a little less painful—physically, at least. The 2016 Easton Mako, in particular, has ascended into baseball bat folklore because of its neon green colorway and insane ability to demolish baseballs (although some hitters prefer the orange 2015 model, too). Prodigy skis offer a soft and playful feel through their light wooden core while remaining stiff enough to handle big air. If you're primarily a freeride skier, these are a perfect match. Prodigy skis feature a Carbon Stomp Pad; this carbon reinforcement underfoot adds extra strength to the most important area of a freestyle ski. This reinforcement underfoot also increases stability and adds vibration absorption under your boots. According to Faction, the poplar/beech core creates a pretty light ski that has great grip and feels snappy between turns, while maintaining a flex “soft enough to pop, slash and butter all over the mountain.” Lastly, Prodigy skis feature the thickest edge offered by Faction, the XL 2.5MM edges, so you’ll be able to really dig in when you’re carving.

Faction has been flying under the radar for quite a while; that is, until Candide Thovex came out with videos capturing the ridiculous lines he was skiing on them. Specifically, the Prodigy is built to be your daily park ski, bust is also designed to stand up against competition-style skiing. With lots of rocker in both the tips and tail, and with camber underfoot, the Prodigy is a modern jib ski that can also hold its own on groomers. Don’t expect to jump from arc to arc on these, but you can still flow nicely without feeling out of control at speed. If you’re looking for a designated park ski -- but still find yourself peak hopping -- the Prodigy is a solid option.
