CCM HG97 gloves are designed with pros in mind. They offer superior protection and detail without sacrificing mobility or durability. Most noticeable are the reinforced backhands with Shot Blocker technology. This provides maximum protection against impacts and trauma. These gloves feature a traditional 4-Roll design with reinforced heavy-duty Dual Density Foam on the backhands and fingers along with plastic inserts for increased protection. The cuff also has a classic fit that offers maximum wrist mobility and features extended upper padding. * These skates are like an extension of my feet. The custom-fitting process means almost no break-in period. The comfort level is incredible, and I can skate for hours without any pain or discomfort.
* The boot is super responsive and allows for maximum energy transfer in my strides.  The heat-moldable option lets you customize the flex profile to your liking, which is a game-changer.
* The skates feel incredibly lightweight, which helps with agility and maneuverability.  Despite the lightweight build, the materials seem very durable. I've been using them for a season now, and they're still holding up great.

CONS:



* These skates are definitely an investment. The custom fitting process adds to the cost, which might not be feasible for everyone.
* The custom fitting process takes time, and there can be a waitlist to get your skates made.  If you need skates right away, this might not be the best option.
* While the custom fitting is great in theory, it might not be perfect for everyone.  Some users with very complex foot shapes might still experience some fit issues.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

HG12 pro stock gloves from CCM are a great option for elite players who want to look and feel like the pros. The padding along the backhand is designed to move as you move, which promotes better flexibility all around. HG12s feature durable PU in their exterior, and HD foam and PE inserts combine to provide a lightweight, ultra protective experience. 

The palms of the HG12 gloves are reinforced to increase durability, but they’re still incredibly soft to provide you great comfort and feel while you’re stick handling or shooting. For increased mobility and better hold on your stick, the HG12’s feature a segmented KFS lock thumb.

### Expert Notes

HG12 gloves are extremely comfortable and perfectly tailored to the shape of any player’s hand. Initially, you may find that these gloves are slightly restrictive; however, it should only take about a week to break them in and get used to them. The extended wrist cuff moves independently from the rest of the glove, which allows for a full range of motion while offering tons of forearm protection. If you wear smaller elbow pads, HG12 gloves could be a good option for you to make up for the lack of protection from your elbow pads. The palms of these gloves are insanely comfortable, and hold up extremely well against wear and tear.
