The tongue and calf areas have padded neoprene to provide comfortable movement, while a non-slip foot bed inside the PHASE helps secure the foot in place. DC designed the PHASE to have a thin outsole, thus allowing for maximum board and terrain feel. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant sticky rubber, and the multi tone bottom has DC's trademarked "Pill" pattern. The PHASE's functional sole design grants great traction and grip in the snow.
