Golf Fashion
In 2019, you can step onto the golf course and feel stylish wearing any of the current trends. We’ll walk you through some of the more popular brands and styles of shirts. For men, most golfers still opt to wear a polo shirt of some kind. Tiger started wearing his (now signature) red mock polo from Nike a few years ago, and the TW collection is a nice fit for most guys at any level. TW shirts feature sweat- wicking technology that helps you stay dry and comfortable on the course. Other Nike regulars include Brooks Koepka, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy and Tony Finau. The best thing about Nike is they make golf clothes for all types of weather, so you can stay cool in the Summer and bundle up during the Fall. If Nike’s not for you, look for Adidas’s polos as well. They’ve grown their presence in golf steadily over the years. Jordan Spieth has almost single handedly popularized Under Armour as a golf retailer as the face of the company in his sport. Under Armour is known for its classy yet colorful styles.
On the women’s side, we also recommend checking out styles from Under Armour, Nike or Adidas. Each of these companies offers fun tops to show off. Most women wear traditional polo style shirts, and many opt for tank top polos during the particular hot months. You can’t count out San Soleil either; if you’re particularly sensitive to the sun, you’ll love their long sleeve tops that protect your skin from harmful rays. If you prefer golf dresses to a shirt and pants combo, be sure to check out PUMA or Tail.
