The Supreme 3S Skate is offered in Bauer's new Performance Fit System and it’s designed for the skilled player who wants added comfort. It features a 3D Lasted Flex Composite Boot that’s lightweight and easier to flex. Combined with a Pro TPU outsole, it offers additional stiffness in the lower portion of the skate, delivering more straight line speed.

The boot also has a power cut which offers increased wrap for optimal foot stability and a more powerful stride. A Pro 48 ounce Felt Tongue with injected metatarsal guard compresses and releases energy, offering forward flex and comfort. The skate features a high grade LS+stainless steel blade equipped with increased height AND Bauer's Power Profile*, which helps the player maintain speed and a more aggressive stride. With a Flex Rating of 70, it also offers a great level of support and stability for the player.

Also, in the Junior sizing, we’ve incorporated Motion Flex, a fiber composite boot, which helps a younger player get into the proper “knees over toes” position while still offering outstanding support.

PROS:



* The 3D-lasted flex composite boot provides a good amount of stiffness while still maintaining some flexibility for maneuverability. The skate feels very responsive.
* The fit on the Supreme 3S is a major improvement over my previous skates. The Performance Fit System with the hydrophobic microfiber liner feels super comfortable. The break-in period was reasonable, and there weren't any major pressure points.
* I had no issues with them. There was no lace bite like in my Vapors, and there was no rubbing in the toe cap. They literally feel like slippers on my feet.

CONS:



* This skate is not meant for a wide foot! After 45 minutes, I wanted to get off the ice; it took me up to 2 hours to walk normally. They put so much pressure on the outside of my feet. Super uncomfortable. 
* The Supreme 3S offers some heat-molding capabilities, but only on certain areas of the liner.
* My son is having a hard time with these skates. They are not comfortable even after 2 sessions of molding and spending an extra $40 on special inserts.

The 3S will give you a lot of power, more power than you would get with some of the older models. It features the Pro TPU outsole, which has additional stiffness in the lower portion of the skate, delivering more speed. It's lightweight, and the upgraded foam also adds comfort. The 3S has the stainless steal runner and the trigger release system, allowing you to quickly swap out the blade. It's a skate you could play multiple seasons with.
