Description

Ready to rip! Excellent condition. Only superficial scratches on skis (the streaks are just wax) and a couple dings on bindings (see pictures). I planned to get into backcountry in CO during 2020-21 season and ended up only using them for 1.5 days at Crested Butte resort before moving to NC. Bindings are spaced for a 28.5 boot and the ski’s have only been drilled once. They’re tuned and ready to rip. I’ll include ski bag and poles if you’d like. From Retailer: The 2020 Atomic Backland 107 skis are the perfect choice for advanced and expert skiers who are looking for a wider ski for their quiver. With a fantastic directional feel, these things will slice and dice their way down any trail in soft snow with no problems whatsoever. Thanks to the shape, profile, and construction, the Backland 107 is the ideal ski for fresh snow and busted up crud. At 107 mm underfoot, we’re getting into the range of being too wide for an all-mountain ski, and that’s okay, because they’re amazing floaters for their width. At the same time, they’re narrow enough and have enough strength to carve a sweet turn on the groomers with the best of them. With a 20/70/10 rocker profile, these skis have enough tail strength and underfoot camber to really hold a tight edge, despite losing out on some torsional stiffness due to the width. By adding a carbon backbone, Atomic has alleviated some of the flop and stiffened the ski in all the right places. They do this with Carbon so as to avoid adding too much weight. Overall, they’re fairly light skis, but they feel a lot lighter because of the tip taper. This decreases drag into the turn, so they feel a lot nimbler. When you let these things run in the soft snow, you’ll know you’re on a wonderful ski, and the Atomic Backland 107 is a well-balanced ski for all types of soft and new snow conditions.
