Rawlings Players Preferred is known for its comfortable sheepskin lining and uses softer, but less durable Kip leather with a quicker break-in, while Wilson A2K offers a balance between durability and comfort with Pro Stock leather. Wilson A2K features a DriLex lining which is designed to wick away moisture and keep your hand cool and comfortable. Mizuno Pro features the most durable Japanese full-grain leather but requires a longer break-in period. Mizuno Pro gloves are lined with a combination of leather and synthetic materials for a comfortable feel and good moisture management.

👍 Pros
It fits perfectly. I can see myself getting many years of use out of it since the material and manufacturing are high quality.
The pocket seems to swallow balls very well without being too deep for easy access.
Great glove for baseball or softball, had other people on my team like it so much that they ordered one.
👎 Cons
It takes a while to break in and feels too stiff.
Padding is not as sufficient as other models and would not recommend it for more advanced players.
The lacing broke from a routing ball from short to first base, very disappointed.
The Rawlings Player Preferred is a well-rounded glove for virtually all ages, positions, and recreational play. It uses pro stock leather that is super soft and smooth. I think this glove is much harder and time consuming to break in than advertised. If you prefer a stiffer glove, the Player Preferred will stay pop-out hard for a long time with just regular liquid glove oil.
